UK Salary Statistics

Annual Salary

For the tax year ending 5th April 2013, median gross annual earnings for full-time employees:

Men : £29,300 (up 1.6% from 2012)
Women : £23,600 (up 2.2% from 2012)

Weekly Earnings

In April 2013 the median gross weekly earnings for full-time employees was £517. This is a 2.2% rise from 2012.

  • Men were earning £556 per week (1.8% rise on 2012)
  • Women were earning £459 per week (2.2% rise on 2012)

In April 2013 median gross weekly earnings for full-time employees were highest in London at £658 and lowest in Northern Ireland at £460.
